Renewal of lift car flooring
Description of Works:
The work, which we are to undertake, involves the renewal and upgrade of the existing lift car flooring.
Materials:
Materials used are: epoxy resins, cyclo aliphatic amines, hydrocarbon solvents and granulated/powdered fillers. Our products are the subject of COSHH regulations
for the handling of chemical/dangerous materials.
IN ALL INSTANCES OUR VEHICLES MUST BE ALLOWED TO PARK AS NEAR TO THE POINT OF APPLICATION AS IS POSSIBLE, IRRESPECTIVE OF LOCAL PARKING REGULATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS.
Handling:
All materials will be moved manually by Storvite personnel. Maximum component weight is 25kg.
Personnel:
Operatives have a mobile telephone for immediate contact. Protective clothing is issued free of charge and its use enforced. This is to include plastic
over-trousers, gloves, masks, shoes, hard hats etc.
Application:
Before any operative is allowed to use our product they are fully instructed on the nature of the materials and their safe use.
Before any work is started, the lift will be isolated and positioned approximately 0.5 metres above landing floor level. Safety barriers will be sited accordingly within which we will work where possible.
The material components will be mixed manually in a bucket and applied to the floor by means of a trowel. Once the floor is completed a card will be placed on the doors stating the time that the lift can return to service. The site will be cleared of all material.
It is the responsibility of the lift company to put the lift back into service. We cannot be held responsible for vandalism or damage to the floor once we have left site.
Should any further information be required in respect of the above please do not hesitate to Contact us.
